These 43 acres in Crawford County are proven hunting grounds with a high success rate over the years. Several trophy class whitetails have been harvested off this ground with many more being seen outside of bow range and on trail camera. The most outstanding feature is the +/-3-acre field on top of the ridge. Here you will find an established food plot with several apple trees, a water source, and numerous trails leading to and from. The trails stemming off this whitetail destination lead to proven stand sites which take advantage of travel patterns and pinch points created by the topography. Deer trails are evident everywhere you go, many of them intersecting and leading toward the “main attraction” plot. Two other smaller kill plots are located at the end of access trails.
